The SLUSIK Community of Practice is a space for people interested in the topic of Service-Learning in Secondary level education to engage with each other in a supportive way to develop knowledge and capacity for service learning in secondary schools. Through online resources and webinars, members of the CoP will receive and give support and advice between fellow professionals in the field with different levels of experience and expertise.  Regular online sessions will be organized and relevant resources and materials will be uploaded to the platform in order to stimulate exchange, feedback and continuous discussions. There will be the possibility for members to ask for advice and support on specific aspects of service-learning in secondary schools and members are also encouraged to offer the benefit of their experience and knowledge to others in a supportive and open way. Membership of the CoP is free of charge. 

A community of practice (CoP) is a group of professionals who share a common concern, a set of problems, or an interest in a topic and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals. Communities of practice often focus on sharing best practices and creating new knowledge to advance a domain of professional practice. Interaction on an ongoing basis is an important part of this.
